Katherine Lee, PhD, MS is an Executive Medical Science Liaison supporting Takeda’s rare hematology portfolio, with eight years of Medical Affairs experience across vaccines and epilepsy. She earned a PhD in Emerging Infectious Diseases from the Uniformed Services University and an MS in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Before transitioning to industry, she spent a decade at the University of Colorado as an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Infectious Diseases, where she led NIH-funded research on varicella-zoster virus and mentored early-career scientists. In her free time, she enjoys distance running, traveling, and spending time with her partner and their Boerboel.
