Nina Hwang, M.D. is a board-certified pediatric hematologist at the Center of Inherited Blood Disorders with specialized interest in the treatment of bleeding and clotting disorders. She is a member of the FWGBD (Foundation of Women and Girls with Blood Disorders) network to further improve the care of these individuals with bleeding and other blood disorders. After earning her medical degree from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois, she completed both her general pediatric residency and pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at CHOC Children’s Hospital of Orange County. She has enjoyed working with a multidisciplinary team at her HTC since completion of her training.
